The Wave propeller is mounted directly onto the motor shaft. This completely eliminates the traditional belt drive, ensuring that slip is fully excluded.
Thanks to the in house development of the new motor suspension and the use of high strength ABS industrial plastic instead of hollow stainless steel tubes, this fan is genuinely exceptionally quiet.
Compared to the already very quiet XXP 21, this results in an additional noise reduction of 2 dB(A) — almost halving the perceived sound level!
